Obituary

Worcester – Edward C. Page, 71, of Worcester, died on Monday, July 28th in Saint Vincent Hospital.

Mr. Page is survived by his daughter, Deborah L. Page of Worcester and a sister, Janice M. Herman and her husband Richard of Worcester. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Charles E. and Eva M. (Giard) Page and served in the Army National Guard.

Ed worked for over 40 years in the grocery store industry. He worked for over 20 years at various locations for the former Big D Supermarkets as a store manager and later worked for Shaws Supermarkets for over 20 years also as a store manager.

Mr. Page was an avid New England Patriots fan, and was a car enthusiast, especially Corvette’s and the Ford Fairlane. He also had a love for music.

The funeral will be held on Friday, August 1st at 10 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Thursday, July 31st from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Ed, may be made to the Massachusetts Shelter for Veterans 69 Grove Street Worcester, MA 01605.
