Obituary

WEBSTER - Adele A. (Langlois) Cole, 79, died Saturday, July 26, 2014 after a period of declining health.
She leaves her husband of 35 years, Guy M. Cole; 3 children, Julie L. Sterczala and her fiance Robert E. Lee, Lorene M. Gouin and her husband James, and Glenn A. Bacon, Jr., all of Webster; 3 grandchildren, Kelly L. Barnaby and her husband Rich, Stephen L. Sterczala and his wife Katie, and Jenna E. Gouin; 2 great-grandchildren, Abby and Richie Barnaby; 2 sisters, Gloria Hickey in California and Lucille Miller of Killingly, CT; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and 3 brothers. She also leaves her Golden Retriever Toby.
She was born in Woodstock and raised in Putnam, a daughter of Theodore and Lucy (Lafountain) Langlois and moved to Webster in 1953.
Mrs. Cole worked at Stevens Linen. She was a communicant of St. Louis Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to Hampton Beach and to
Disneyworld and was a Red Sox fan.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 30, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. A calling hour will be from 9:15 to 10:15 AM Wednesday in the funeral home.
