Frank V. Miscioscia, 83 of Medford, died Friday July 25 after a brief illness in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.

Born in Boston, he resided in Medford for the past 55 years and was formerly of the West End of Boston. He was the son of the late Maria (Oliveira) and Vincenzo Miscioscia. Frank was a carpenter with Local 40 in the Boston area for 40 years and retired in 1985. He was a late U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War from 1952 to 1954.

Beloved husband of Phyllis (Salamone) Miscioscia. Devoted father of Maria D'Alelio and her husband Mario of Stoneham, Frank Miscioscia and his wife Terri of Medford, James Miscioscia and his wife Jeannine of Lynnfield, Susan Amato and her husband Michael of Medford, Gina Colarusso and her husband Joe of Lynnfield. Also survived by 17 loving grandchildren and 8 loving great grandchildren. Brother of the late Nancy, Nick, Mike, Domenic, Rose, Gracie and Joe. Loving brother in law and uncle to the Salamone Family.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
