Doris L Reeves, 91, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Summerfield Health & Rehab. She was a homemaker, member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church, the Leisure Club, the USS Denver Association and a member of the Shawnee Class of 1940. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Reeves; parents, Mary and Roscoe Laufman and sister, Allie Kirchgessner. She is survived by her daughters, Terri Oak and Judy Nalley; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be 10 am Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1 pm to 8 pm on Friday. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to Hosparus of Louisville and the Kentucky Humane Society.
