Matthew J. Alvarado, 53, of Ventura passed away on Saturday July 19, 2014 after being struck by a drunk driver.
Matthew was born May 29, 1960 in Ventura and was a lifetime resident of Ventura County.
He was a devoted son and brother.
Mr. Alvarado enjoyed music and played in a band.
Matthew is survived by his beloved father Joe Alvarado, Sr. of Ventura and his beloved mother, Sally Alvarado of Ojai; sister Lisa Chase of Santa Barbara; brothers Joe Alvarado Jr. of Ventura, Paul Alvarado of Glendale, and Andrew Padilla and his wife Debbie of Oregon.
Family and Friends are invited to Visiting Hours Sunday July 27, 2014 from 2 to 4PM in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME 757 E. Main Street Ventura with a Rosary to be recited at 3PM.
