Shirley Jean (Newton) Crabtree, 76, went home to her Lord, Monday July 21, 2014 at St’s. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Shirley was born in Louisville, KY to Joseph Luke & Virginia (Poynter) Newton.
Shirley was a Teachers Aide for disabled children, for J.C.P.S. with over 6 years service, and a member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a her Parents and a Sister: Betty Jo Roberts.
Survivors include her loving Husband of 50 years, Robert W. Crabtree; her children: Robert B. Priddy (Kathy), Barry Priddy (Mary), Kimberly JeanReardon (Richard)
and Shana Lynn Ventola (Bobby); 9 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandsons.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday 1:00 – 7:00 PM and after 10:00 AM Thursday.
