James H. O’Brien, Jr., 57, of Hampstead, NH died Monday at his home.
He grew up and was educated in Somerville and Salem, NH and he graduated from Salem High School. He was a machinist and formerly worked for Crown, Cork and Seal. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, his truck and he loved fishing and the water.
He is survived by his children, Steven O’Brien of Methuen, MA, Christine O’Brien of Alton Bay, NH, Christopher O’Brien of Salem, NH and Jessica O’Brien of Manchester, NH; his brothers, William O’Brien of VA, Walter O’Brien of Manchester, NH, Thomas O’Brien of Fremont, NH, his sisters, Jeanne Edwards of Raymond, NH, Gayle O’Brien of Waltham, MA, Sandra Armstrong of Salem, NH and Elena O’Brien of Leeds, ME; his step-children, Paul Provencal of Sandown, NH, Kimberly Provencal of Andover, MA and Erica O’Brien of Salem, NH; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be Wed., July 23rd from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will be Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial of the urn will follow in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH.
