Obituary

Camille G. Mandeville, Sr., 82, of Woonsocket died Sunday morning at Home & Hospice Care Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. He was the loving husband of Estelle A. (Lemay) Mandeville. They were married on August 5, 1957.
Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Emilien and Florina (Jacob) Mandeville. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Mandeville served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was employed for over 30 years at Whittins Machine shop and also worked at Bryant University for several years.
Cam was a devoted father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife of 56 years he is survived by a son Camille G. Mandeville, Jr., and his wife Elizabeth “Beth” of Harrisville and two granddaughters Chantalle and Haley Mandeville. He was the brother of Simone Goudreau and her husband, George, and Vivian Roy all of Woonsocket and the late Emile, James, Robert and Yvette Mandeville, Florence Belisle and Lucille Guilbeault. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
His funeral will be Wednesday at 9:00 am from the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 5-8 pm.
