Cecil Evans Toole
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, July 18, 2014, Cecil Evans Toole, 92, husband of Lillian Toole.
Mr. Toole was born in Warrenville, SC and lived in Martinez, GA. He was a member of In Focus Church. Mr. Toole was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army for 23 years followed by 18 years of Civil Service in the Army Reserve.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughter: Mary Theresa Toole of Augusta; sons: Paul D. Toole, Michael F. Toole (Sherri), Patrick A. Toole all of Augusta and Christopher J. Toole (Paula) of Grovetown; and 13 grandchildren. Mr. Toole was preceded in death by his first wife: Helen Wooten Toole and sons: Tony Toole and Mark Toole.
A funeral service will be Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Brent Garrard officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Military Honors.
The family wishes to thank all the staff on the 5th floor of Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home for their tender and loving care.
