Frank R. Staffier, 92 of Medford, died Thursday July 17, after a long illness at home.

Born in Boston, he was a lifelong resident of Medford and the son of the late Josephine (Anastasi) and John Staffier. Frank was a Salesman, with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for over 25 years and retired in 1985. He served during World War II in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945 as a Watertender First Class aboard the USS Champlin, USS Bernadou and the USS Gallatin. Frank was a member of the Medford Lodge of Elks #915, an avid Golfer and loyal Red Sox's Fan.

Beloved husband of the late Marie (D’Apuzzo) Staffier. Devoted father of Irene O'Donnell and her husband Richard of Revere. Loving grandfather of Mark Staffier and his wife Kerri. Loving great grandfather of Adam Staffier. Brother of John Staffier and his wife Pamela of Westborough and the late Anthony R. Staffier, M.D., Sam Staffier, Christine DiPietro, Mary Scialoia, Phyllis Ragosta and Netta Anderson. Brother in law of Irene D'Apuzzo. Also dear friend and caregiver Velma Walcott.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Tuesday 9--10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Frank’s name to the Mystic Valley Elder Services, 300 Commercial Street, Suite 19., Malden, MA 02148.
