Mr. John Francis Donnelly, Jr., of Taunton and formerly of Belmont, died Friday, July 11 in Taunton Nursing Home following a period of failing health. He was born 77 years ago in Belmont, the son of the late John F. and Margaret Donnelly, Sr. He was educated in Belmont and had been a Taunton resident for several years. Prior to his retirement, John was a self-employed taxi driver in the Belmont area for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the early Vietnam Era. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
A Visiting Hour will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Tuesday, August 12, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 A.M.
