Laconia-----Catherine A. MacMichael, 95, of 30 County Drive and formerly of the Taylor Community, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Saturday, July 12, 2014. She was the widow of Edwin T. MacMichael who died in 1977.
Mrs. MacMichael was born January 6, 1919 in Meredith, N.H., the daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Comstock) Raymond. She had been a resident of Laconia for over sixty-eight years and was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia and the Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia Alliance.
Survivors include her son, Gerald MacMichael of Mexico; her daughter, Lauren Lemay of Gilford, N.H.; six grandchildren, Kate Lemay of Gilford, N.H., Micheline Lemay of Stowe, Vt., Daosith Lemay of Dover, N.H., Jahannah Lemay of San Antonio, Tex., Daosay Lemay of Nashua, N.H. and Perla MacMichael of Mass.; four great grandchildren; five nieces and two nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. MacMichael was predeceased by a brother, David Raymond, and by a sister, Edith Raymond.
