Obituary

Mary Delia Harrington, age 70, of New Hampton, NH (formerly Scituate MA), peacefully passed away on Wednesday July 9th 2014. Born on May 28, 1944 in Danvers MA, to Irene (Guadette) and Joseph Donnelly (both deceased) from Scituate and Revere MA. Mary was the oldest of five children and attended Immaculate Conception School in Revere through High School. After receiving an Associate Degree in Business from Massasoit Community College, Mary opened her own business. She was well known throughout the community for her cheerfulness while operating the Scituate Harbor Video Store, known to many people as "Mary's Video". In early 2000, she relocated to New Hampton NH where she continued her video store business until her retirement. She was a devout Roman Catholic who loved the Lord. She loved to share her interests in movies, sewing, cooking and baking with others. Mary was well loved by everyone who knew her and had many friends throughout New England.
Her early marriage to Anthony Albano of Somerville (deceased) and later to Ronald Harrington of Scituate (divorced) produced five lovely children. She is survived by: daughter Lisa Harrington of Hopkinton MA, daughter Donna Harrington of Duxbury MA, daughter Sheryl Harrington of Lakewood CO, son Tony and daughter-in-law Susan Harrington of Golden CO, son Sean Harrington of Ft. Lauderdale FL. She had three beautiful grandchildren, Dorian, Marcus and Nya whom she loved.
Mary had close and loving relationships with her brothers and sisters as well as her extended family including: brother Joseph Donnelly of Scituate MA (deceased), brother Robert Donnelly of New Hampton NH, brother Richard Donnelly of Farmington NH, and sister Patricia Donnelly of Scituate MA as well as countless nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (300 New Hampshire Route 25 in Meredith NH 03253) on Saturday July 19th at 10 AM followed by a reception for family and friends in the community center. Mary's ashes will be received by her children following the services. In Massachusetts, a Memorial Mass said in her honor will take place at 10 AM on July 22nd at St. Mary of the Nativity Parish (14 Edward Foster Road in Scituate 02066).
