He went on to work at Filenes Basement, Raymond’s, Fischer Counter Company and eventually, his pride and joy, Bargaineer of Weymouth. He married his beloved wife Mary on October 18, 1952, and found love and companionship with her for the past 62 years. They lived together in Braintree, MA, raising eight children together, before moving to Duxbury and retiring in Naples FL.

Paul had the entrepreneurial spirit from an early age and a passion for retailing. He was actively involved with St. Thomas More Church; the St. Vincent and Holy Name societies. He was involved with the Quincy Chamber of Commerce, and a huge benefit to the Habitat for Humanity effort.

He loved golfing, especially with his children and grandchildren. He was also an avid water colorist, with many works of art donated to Habitat for Humanity where his work instantly made a house a home for hundreds of families.

What he most loved was his family, and time spent with them.

Paul was a hardworking, quiet man; unpretentious, intelligent and caring. He touched so many people’s lives; he will be sorely missed.
