Inge E. (Stier) Lilla, 82, passed away, Wednesday July 9, 2014 in her home after a prolonged illness.
Inge was born February 9, 1932 in Offenbach, Germany, daughter of the late Karl and Elisabeth (Heck) Stier.
She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Lilla, they were married for almost 62 years, their four children; Clifford of Webster; Susan Montville and her husband Robert of Dudley, Michael and his wife Frances of Hollidaysburg, PA., and Jeffrey and his wife Ann of Webster, she also raised her grandchild, Jamie Lilla and was also a devoted grandmother to Renee Carlson, Brian and Steven Montville, Erik and Kristen Lilla and great grandmother to Maggie Montville, Corinne Carlson, Katie, Juliette, Samantha and Charlie Lilla.
She was involved in the St. Joseph’s Polish Women’s Club for many years and was a former President. She operated her own day care center for many years and loved the children as if they were her own, forming a special bond with some of these children until the day of her passing.
Inge’s Funeral Service will be Friday, July 18, 2014 at 10 AM in The ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St. Burial will be Private in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery.
