Ingrid Prouty
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, July 13, 2014, Mrs. Ingrid Renata Prouty, 67, loving wife to Mr. Richard Prouty, Jr.
Mrs. Prouty was a native of Grosse Gerau, Germany but has lived in Augusta for the last 50 years. She was a homemaker, an American Greetings representative, Treasurer of Forest Estates Neighborhood Association and a member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. Mrs. Prouty generously donated her selfless time to others and always gave with her heart.
Family members in addition to her husband include sons: Richard Prouty, III (Diann Flanders Prouty), Michael Roy Prouty (Jami Scott Prouty); daughter: Jennifer Lynn Prouty (Idalia Davis); grandchildren: Lindsey Prouty, Natalie Prouty, Morgan Prouty, Krosse Davis, Peyton Prouty; and a sister: Arleen Krueger.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Bart Grey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Weeks, Carl Weeks, Brian Weeks, Chris Weeks, Russell Young, Randy McDowell, Ramone Medina, and Paul Hayes.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 2050 Walton Way, Suite 208, Augusta, GA 30904 in lieu of flowers.
