Kendall F. Higgins of Taunton passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday July 13, 2014, at the age of 84. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Shirley R. (Wilson) Higgins. Son of the late Fred and Edith (Davis) Higgins. Loving father of Christine M. Pitts and her husband Jeffrey of Taunton. Loving Pa to Jeffrey and Cameron Pitts. Brother of Carroll Higgins of Ct, and the late David and Sherwood Higgins. Kendall was 21 years in the National Guard, retiring as a Major, member of Ionic Lodge (King David Lodge) in Taunton, he was a District Deputy of Ionic Lodge, member of Scottish Right Mason of So. Easton, and 33rd Degree Mason. Graduate of Taunton High School class of 1946. Retired AT&T employee for 31 years in Providence. Visiting hours will be in the Taunton Funeral Home 8 Crapo St. (Off Rte. 140) Taunton, on Wednesday 4-8 PM. Services will be in the Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Internment Cedar Knoll Cemetery, Taunton.
