Lowell Hanson, age 88 formerly of Sharon, of Milton passed away at the Ellis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwood July 11th. Born and raised in Sharon, he graduated from Sharon High School and was an Army Veteran of WW II. He worked as a Mechanic at Taylors Garage in Sharon for many years. He enjoyed wood working and especially like building grandfather clocks for family members. Beloved husband of Margery L. (Clark). Father of Carolyn Elterich and her husband Steve of Canton and Peter Hanson and his wife Gail of N.H. Grandfather of Kristen Elterich of Charlestown, Nicole Elterich of S. Boston and Christopher Hanson of N.H. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday from 12 to 2 pm. The visitation will be concluded with funeral service at 2 pm. and burial will follow at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon.
