Obituary

Watson, William G. 84, of Plymouth and Naples Fl, passed away at the Life Care Center of Plymouth on July 9. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Walsh) Watson of Plymouth. Father of Marianne Watson of Fl, Laurel Watson, Gerald C. McDonald and his wife Melissa of Rutland, MA, Deborah McDonald of Wayland, and the late William Watson. He also leaves a brother Robert Watson of FL, a sister Virginia Amor of NV, 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 nieces and a nephew.
William was born in Lynn the son of Bernard and Mary Catherine (Donovan) Watson. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Lynn, Salem State University and attended Boston University. William served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. William was a Software Designer and founded the company, Software International as well as developing Heavy Duty Hydroblasting Company. He loved playing the piano and was an avid golfer. A “Celebration of His Life” will be held at a later date, all other services will be Private.
