Obituary

Margaret “Chris” (Watson) Malmquist, of Kingston formerly of Quincy, died at home on July 6th at the age of 67. She is survived by her beloved husband Richard Malmquist, her daughter Anne Malmquist and her son Mark Malmquist both of Brockton. She also leaves her sister Valerie Winsor of Seattle, WA and her brother John C. Watson Jr. of Portland, OR.
Chris was born in Denver, CO and graduated from University of Rochester in NY where she received her BS and from State University of NY in Buffalo where she received her Masters. She was a member of the Jubilate Choral of South Eastern MA, the Massachusetts Nurses Association and the Zion Lutheran Church. Chris enjoyed singing, traveling and especially spending time with her family. She was a Clinical Specialist Nurse specializing in psychiatry and her own psychiatric practice in Plymouth for 10 years.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 12th from 2 to 4 PM at the Loring Center, 384 Court St, Plymouth (attached to the Zion Lutheran Church). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13th at 2 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Burial is private. Arrangements made by the Richard Davis Funeral Homes of Plymouth and Manomet. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations in her memory by made to the Zion Lutheran Church, 384 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360 or to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Cr, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
