Shirley A. Bryan, age 77, of Foxboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Harrington House in Walpole.
Born in Norwood, MA on March 27, 1937, she was a loving daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Ryan) Bryan. She grew up and was educated in Dedham and graduated from Dedham High School.
A resident of Foxboro for over 40 years, Shirley had worked for over 35 years at Factory Mutual in Norwood and at the time of her retirement was employed in the companies Enrollment Dept.
Shirley, along with her family, had attended St. Mary’s Church in Foxboro and also St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield.
Her happiest times spent were those in the presence of her adoring family, especially with her two grandsons. She also enjoyed the beautiful beaches of Cape Cod, Onset always being her favorite point of destination.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Tara B. Finn and her husband Peter of Attleboro. She was the cherished grandmother of Jackson Finn and Gavin Finn of Attleboro. She was the dear sister of Charles “Charlie” Bryan and his wife Florence of Ashby, John “Jack” Belloni and his wife Cathy of Mansfield, Primo “Buster” Bellani and his girlfriend Pat of Alabama and Thomas Bryan and his wife Sandy of Westwood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Friday, July 11th at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at the Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxboro.
Visiting hours have been omitted and in lieu of flowers, Shirley’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451. www.lung.org
