Maria Gloria Hoehne, age 62 of La Grange, passed away on July 6, 2014.
Gloria was born on April 12, 1952 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Estanislao Rodriguez and San Juana Ramirez Rodriguez. She was a medical secretary. She married Reuben L. Hoehne on June 18, 1977 in Alief. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange, the CDA, the Altar Society and worked with CCD. She also enjoyed watching sporting events.
She is survived by her husband Reuben; one son, Marcus Hoehne; a daughter, Alisha Perez and son-in-law Tony Perez; two granddaughters, Christiana Hoehne and Emma Hoehne; grandson, Eric Perez; father, Estanislao Rodriguez and step-mother Louisa Rodriguez; four sisters, Frances Hernandez, Josie Trevino, Isabel Martinez and husband Luciano and Tina Zamora and husband Johnny; two brothers, Jessie Rodriguez and wife Alice and Deacon Gilbert Rodriguez and wife Betty; sisters-in-law, Janie Rodriguez, Lillian McCutcheon and husband Sonny, Janet Chandler and husband Dale and Bernice Hoehne; mother-in-law, Dora Hoehne; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many close friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her mother San Juana Rodriguez and a brother, Silvero Rodriguez.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday July 9, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 6:30 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors at this time. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday July 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange.
Interment will follow in the Freyburg Methodist Cemetery in Freyburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the CDA Court Annunciation #1962 or the CCD Program at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange.
