Marguerite I. Corrado, a life-long Medford resident died Thursday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. She was 89. The daughter of the late Bennie and Antoinette Lanni, Marguerite was a devoted wife, mother and loving grandmother. She enjoyed a long career at Rite Aid Pharmacy on Salem St. in Medford. She worked at that location for 40 years, beginning when it was the TurnStyle Department Store. She retired at 80. In her younger years she was a member of the Santa Maria Lodge of the Sons of Italy and with her husband Joe at the ITAM post in Medford.

The beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Corrado and devoted mother of the late Wayne Corrado, she leaves her loving granddaughter Lalia Corrado. She is also survived by her dear brothers and sisters: Bennie Lanni of Woburn, Rita Lawless Conti of Malden, Frances Stahler of Medford, Pauline D’Allesandro of Medford, Theresa Lunn of Lynn, Robert Lanni of Medford, Paul Lanni of Medford, John Lanni of Malden as well as many loving nieces, nephews and their families. She is predeceased by her brothers Albert and Arthur Lanni.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Tuesday July 8th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford at 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Monday from 4 – 8 PM.
