Sutton – Patricia A. (Joslin) Lanman, 54, of Sutton, died peacefully in her home while surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 28th after an illness.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Theodore “Ted” Lanman; a son, John Joslin of Worcester; two daughters, Jennifer Barbosa and her husband Alex of Webster and Amy Feliciano and her husband Nefty of Worcester; her mother, Elizabeth (Pitt) Carey of Charlton; three step daughters, Beth Armstrong and her husband Scott of Webster, Stephanie Lanman of Maine and Heather Lanman of Somerville, MA; a brother, Harvey Joslin of Oxford; two sisters, Linda Christy and her husband Michael of Oxford and Dorothy Floria and her husband Bruce of Worcester; 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Zane, Xavier and Lukas; two step grandchildren, Ethan and Shamus, many nephews and nieces and also many close friends, including her best friend, Carla Mustakangas.
Mrs. Lanman was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Harvey Joslin and is also predeceased by a brother Billy Joslin. Patty worked as a certified nurse’s aide for Briarwood and Overlook Health Care for the past 34 years.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th at 2 PM in Rural Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather from 12 noon to 1:30 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street before the graveside service. Memorial contributions in memory of Patricia may be made to Briarwood Assisted Living “Resident Activity Fund” 65 Briarwood Circle Worcester, MA 01605.
