New Bedford – Thomas William DeFranco, Sr., age 58 of New Bedford, died, unexpectedly, at his home on Thursday, July 3, 2014. Mr. DeFranco was born in Rochester, NY, the son of the late Claire (Voscelle) and the late Joseph DeFranco and was employed as a Welder at Norlantic Deisel Company.
He is survived by 4 children: Danielle Letendre of Harwich, Ma, Cody J. DeFranco of Brooklyn, NY, Thomas W. DeFranco II of Dartmouth, and Ericka DeFranco of Dartmouth; 3 grandchildren: Jeremy Letendre of Harwich, Nathalia DeFranco of New Bedford and Victoria Letendre of Harwich; former wife, Michelle Sylvia, as well as a niece.
He is predeceased by his brother, Joseph DeFranco.
In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated. Services are omitted. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
