Obituary

GILFORD – Austin Colby Blais, 18, of 250 Sagamore Road, died Sunday, June 29, 2014.

He was born on January 7, 1996 in Laconia and was a 2014 graduate of Gilford High School. Austin worked for Lowes in Gilford in the Garden center. He was a member of the Gilford Golden Eagles football and lacrosse teams and also played baseball and loved many forms of sports. He enjoyed nature and was known as being free spirited and fearless.

He is survived by his mother and father, Patrick and Andrea (Theberge) Keon of Gilford, his grandfather, Jerry “Gubba” Theberge, his great grandmothers; Jane Noyes and Virginia Theberge, his two brothers; Noah and Christian Blais, both of Gilford, his step-brother, Shawn Keon of Texas, his step-sister, Beckie Keon of Texas, his two aunts; Katie Thompson and Jeanne Bickford and his uncle Bruce Hibbard, his cousins Amelia Thompson and Kaleb Hibbard and Austin’s love of his life, Emily Robinson of Meredith. Austin also leaves behind many friends and loved ones. Austin is also survived by his extended family; Joseph Richardson, J.T. Richardson, Michael Richardson, Brycen Richardson and Tessa Richardson, all of Gilmanton.

Calling hours will be held from 4PM to 7Pm on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance. A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Bayside Cemetery in Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Golden Eagles Football, 81 Valley Drive, Gilford, NH 03249.
