Rich was the cherished companion for 40 years of Dru Pacheco.
He was the son of the late Virginia (Lowe) and Lonnie Barger.
Shirley Hand of Florida was his loving aunt.
He was survived by his cousins and loving friends.
Visiting hours will be held in the Brown-Flaherty Funeral Home, 261 Washington Street, Union Square, Somerville on Monday from 10am to noon.
Rich's relatives and friends are gratefully invited to attend.
A Prayer Service will follow at 12:10pm.
Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
