Delilah J. Green
Delilah, 87 of Ventura passed away at home after a brief illness on July 2, 2014.
Delilah was born on June 10, 1927 and has been a resident of Ventura County for 45 years. She was a multifaceted person who was a wife, mother, businesswomen, homemaker, and friend. Delilah enjoyed old movies, playing chicken foot (dominos), some travel, socializing with friends & family, and chatting about her son. Her ready smile and friendly disposition charmed everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
Delilah is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Richard in 2003 and her brother Peter in 2007; she is survived by her sister Amalia, and son and daughter in-law Richard and Caroline.
An informal memorial and celebration of Delilah’s life will be held on Thursday July 10, 2014 at 1:00pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street, Ventura.
The family extends our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Aegis Living of Ventura, and also to Assisted Hospice Care. It felt as if Delilah was always under the watchful eye of family.
