Peter J. Carapellucci Jr., age 59, of Lynnfield formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully on June 29th following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Catherine J. (Marquardo), together sharing 36 years of marriage. Born in Boston he was the son of Victoria (Gello) Carapellucci of Medford and the late Peter J. Carapellucci Sr.

Peter was raised and educated in Medford where he was a graduate of Medford High School with the class of 1972. Peter worked for many years as a glazer in the construction industry. Mostly devoted to his family he enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling and especially loading the family into the car for his spur of the moment "field trips" to many different destinations.

Along with his wife and mother, Peter is survived by his children, Jeanette J. Carapellucci of Lynnfield and Peter J. Carapellucci III of Malden. He was the loving brother of Yvonne Pirroni, Lois Besso-Hogan, Phyllis, Darlene and Kenneth Carapellucci. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Thursday, July 3rd, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd. Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
