Lorraine was the beloved wife to Omer J. Tetreault who died in 1987. She was a loving and devoted mother to her surviving 6 daughters, Lorraine A. Buxton & her husband Robert, Annemarie E. Barter & her husband Bruce both of Worcester, Paula J. Rader & her husband Alan of Framingham, Phyllis A. Whitney & her husband Gary of Cherry Valley, Michelle K. Sullivan & her husband Scott of Northbridge, and Robin A. Tetreault of Worcester. She has a sister, Elizabeth G. Evans and brother-in law Bill of Knoxville Tennesee. Lorraine was the loving grandmother to 12 ambitious grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She leaves her beloved dog Harrison Ford who sat vigil with her diligently on her life's final day.

Mrs. Tetreault was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Dolor T. and Anita L. (Fleurant) Giard. Lorraine was employed by both the former El Morocco Restaurant and was a bridal seamstress for Marcus Department Store in Worcester. She was educated in the Worcester public school system.

Along with her wry sense of humor she enjoyed numerous hobbies which involved playing her organ initially and in later years she took to the keyboard. Going camping and tending to the Irises in her garden brought her pride and joy, as well as the projects involving her crafts, sewing, needlepoint, knitting, crocheting and coloring, all of which kept her loving hands nimble.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a funeral mass at 11 AM in Saint Joseph Church Holy Family Parish 35 Hamilton Street Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home before the funeral mass. Expressions of sympathy may be made as a memorial contribution in memory of Lorraine Tetreault to the ASPCA. As her love of any animal was profound and forever strong.
