Joseph R. “Joey” Candella of Sherborn died on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was sixty-four years old.
Son of the late Joseph and Rita (Morin) Candella, he was born in Boston and raised in Brookline.
Mr. Candella was a resident of Sherborn since 1974 and a self-employed land developer. He enjoyed golfing, his 1981 Delorean, his 1972 Harley Davidson Motorcycle and flying a single engine plane.
He was the devoted husband of Joanne E. (Farber) Candella of Sherborn with whom they shared forty years of marriage.
He was the loving father of Aaron Candella of Virginia, Jody R. French and her husband Zachary of Natick and Jared T. Candella of Allston.
Cherished grandfather of Wil and Josh Candella and Aidan and Malaina French. Caring brother of Diane DeGloria of Norwood, Marie Copparini of Mansfield, Patty Roth of Austin, TX and the late Dominic and John Candella.
Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral service will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Saturday, July 5th at 4:00PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
