Muriel V. (Beaulieu) Baldwin, age 88, of Plainville, formerly of North Attleboro passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Epoch Senior Healthcare in Norton. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Baldwin who died in 1997.
Born in Attleboro, MA on January 13, 1926, she was a dear daughter of the late Frederick A. and Elanora I. (Marczak) Beaulieu. She grew up in North Attleboro and was a graduate of North Attleboro High School.
Mrs. Baldwin, along with her late husband Robert were the founders and operators of the former Baldwin’s Office Supply in downtown North Attleboro.
When younger, Muriel loved spending time and traveling with her husband and friends, and especially being with her late daughter Deborah.
She had previously spent the winter months at Sanibel Island in Florida and the summertime on Cape Cod in North Falmouth.
She is survived by her devoted children; Bradford L. Baldwin of North Falmouth and his girlfriend Helen Caruso, Robert B. Baldwin of Kansas, Bonnie S. Baldwin of Medford and the late Deborah A. Hamilton. She was the sister of the late Fred Beaulieu, and is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer and Matthew, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday, July 7th from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St. Mansfield.
A funeral service will follow at 1:30 P.M. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, One Bennigton Blvd., Bourne
