Jesse James Duponte, age 93, of Somerset, formerly of Main Rd. in Tiverton RI, passed away June 24, 2014 peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Stephanie (Pisarczyk) Duponte and son of the late Theophile and Evengelina (Moniz) Duponte. Prior to retirement Jesse was self-employed for many years as a Vegetable Farmer Wholesaler. He was also a member of the American Farm Bereau.
Along with his wife, Jesse leaves behind his very special care providers Michael Kimpel (wife Sandra) of Somerset and step son Burnell Kimpel (wife Wendy) of Fall River and he was a very special papa to his grandchildren Victoria and Matthew Kimpel. He also leaves behind his siblings George and John Duponte as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Manuel, Alfred, Antone, Theophile Duponte, Alice Kelly, Mary Barbosa and Albertina Rego.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River THURSDAY with extended calling hours from 9 - 10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Madeline’s Church in Tiverton at 11:00 A.M.
