Obituary

Edwin M. Palmgren 69, of Natick and Harwich died Saturday, June 21st at his home.
He was the beloved husband of Anne C. (Austin) Palmgren sharing 44 years of marriage.
A Natick resident for 42 years he was born in New York City the son of the late George and Bernice (Schilling) Palmgren.
Mr. Palmgren was an Accountant and worked for McNitt and Company of Wellesley for the past ten years. For the previous 25 years he worked at Toolmex Corporation of Natick retiring as Treasurer in 2004.
Mr. Palmgren received a Master’s Degree in Finance from Bentley College in 1981 and his B.S Degree in Accounting from Bentley in 1978, and served in the United States Naval Reserve.
Edwin enjoyed his Bridge Club, crossword puzzles, reading, watching old westerns, cooking and a good glass of wine.
He cherished the time spent with family especially sharing his love of science while watching the Discovery Channel with granddaughter Makenzie, going to Sweet Meadow Farm in Sherborn with granddaughter Kailee and watching his grandson Jack play soccer.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter Jennifer A. Palmgren of Ewing NJ, one son Edwin G. Palmgren and future daughter in law Eleni Mandelenakis of Natick, three grandchildren Makenzie R. Palmgren, Kailee A. Palmgren, Jack E. Palmgren, all of Natick, and one brother George Palmgren of Kent Washington.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Friday, June 27th, at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.
Burial will be private. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of one's choice.
