WESTPORT… Janet E. (Thurston) Pacheco, 66 of Westport passed away June 20, 2014.
She was the companion of 30 years of the late Stephen Souza.
Born in London, England, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Nellie (Floyd) Thurston and has lived in the Fall River area since moving here with her family in 1952.
Mrs. Pacheco worked as a stockbroker for Wolfson Zalkind and more recently for Harlan Shabshelowitz for the past 20 years, retiring in 2014. She enjoyed reading, working, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her son: Derek Pacheco and his wife Ana of Westport, 3 grandchildren: Brenden, Alyx and Sydney Pacheco, 2 sisters: Carol LaBerge of Fall River and Susan Gray of Newport, RI, 1 brother: John Thurston of New Bedford, lots of loved nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Marjorie LaBerge, Barbara Souza and Frank Thurston.
Relatives and friends are invited to share fond memories of Janet on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 8 PM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River. Calling hours will be held Friday form 4 – 8 PM.
