Marie A. "Rose" (Arsenault) Beaudreault Bonneau
6/16/2014

Rose’s journey on earth is over. She closed her eyes for the last time on June 16, 2014. She was 100 years old. She is now with God and enjoying her grand reunion with her parents, her two husbands and 14 brothers and sisters who predeceased her. Rose was born August 18, 1913 in St. Omer, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of the late Angele (Le Blanc) and Denis Arsenault. Rose came from a large, close family of 16 children. She emigrated to the United States at age 17 after her father’s death and lived with her brother John Arsenault and his family in Springfield, Massachusetts until she met and married her husband, Edmond Beaudreault in1937. They were married 53 years until Edmond’s death in 1990. Five years after Edmond’s death, Rose married Henri Bonneau at age 82 and had 11 happy years with him until his death in 2006. Rose is survived by her only child, Jeannine Moriarty and very special son-in-law, John Moriarty of Somers, Connecticut. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Darlene Moriarty of Lake Placid, FL and her fiancé Edwin Satter, Lori Bourgoin and her husband, David Bourgoin of Somers, CT. She also leaves her great grandson Trent Bourgoin who always lovingly called her GiGi. Rose was a beautiful person who always wanted the best for the people around her. She leaves behind her sister Rita Arsenault in Canada, many nieces and nephews and also her devoted nieces, Connie, Millie, Rita and Nancy to whom she was very close. She also leaves her stepchildren, Rene Bonneau, Armand Bonneau, Gertrude Hooben, Helene Bonneau, Jeannette Boudreau and Annette O’Connor. A special thanks to the staff at Heritage Woods in Agawam who took such good care of Rose for the last 6 years of her life.
