TEWKSBURY - Carlos Lourenco, age 55, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 8, in Tewksbury. He was the husband of Sandra M. (Richard) Lourenco.
Carlos was born in Tereira, Azores, Portugal, on January 23, 1959, a son of Adelino and Teresa (Azera) Lourenco, who currently reside in Dracut. Carlos had lived in Stoneham and Woburn before moving to Tewksbury last September.
He worked for the McDevitt Trucking Company in Tewksbury, and several other McDevitt locations.
Besides his wife and parents, he leaves a son, Kevin Lourenco of Stoneham; four siblings, Adelino “Al” and his wife Sheila Lourenco of Lowell, Grace Lourenco and her partner Kevin Fogerty of Lynn, Elizabeth Perez-Barani and her husband Orlando of Wakefield, Jose and his wife Helen Lourenco of Lowell; his Godmother, Graciomilde “Grace” Medeiros and her husband Thomas of Tewksbury; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, June 18, n St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Burial followed at St. Mary Cemetery, No. Tewksbury.
