Obituary

HAVERHILL: Edmund F. Klueber, age 100, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Penacook Place in Haverhill. He was the husband of the late Alice Marie (Nagle) Klueber who died in 1980.
Born in Haverhill on March 22, 1914, he was the son of the late William J. and Lottie A. (Gauthier) Klueber. A lifelong resident of Haverhill, Ed was a graduate of St. James High School class of 1933.
Ed was employed as a clerk for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover for over ten years before his retirement. He had also once worked as a milkman for the former Wason-MacDonald Company in Haverhill for over twenty years. He was a member of New England Teamsters Union Local #437 and a lifelong parishioner of St. James Parish. As an avid photographer, he was a member of the Kenoza Camera Club. Along with his wife, they enjoyed traveling all fifty states and especially loved visiting Germany, China, Japan, India and Mexico.
He is survived by two nephews, William J. Klueber and his wife, Rosemary of Bradford and Kent D. Klueber and his wife, Mary of Groveland; a niece, Lyn Vinson of Fletcher, NC; a great-niece, Kirsten Klueber and her husband, Thomas Dean of Haverhill; a great-nephew, Matthew Klueber of Groveland and a great-great-niece, Fiona Dean and a great-great-nephew, Declan Dean. He was also predeceased by two brothers, William T. and Joseph D. Klueber
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday in St. James Church, Winter St., Haverhill at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass in Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Penacook Place, 150 Water St., Haverhill, MA 01830.
