Obituary

Richard F. “Dick” Robinson of Framingham, formerly of Natick, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 8, 2014. He was eighty-six years old.

Born on December 9, 1927 in Framingham, he was the son of the late Melvin and Ruth (Olenten) Robinson. He was raised in Natick, a 1946 graduate of Natick High School and lived most of his life there.

Dick enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served proudly during World War II. He then attended the Franklin Technical School of Boston and worked as a Mechanical Engineer with Isuzu and became their New England Service Representative for eighteen years.

He could fix anything especially pocket watches, made many stained glass lamps and loved being a member of the local auto clubs.

He was a loving father of Richard F. Robinson, Jr. of Lakewood, Colorado and David P. Robinson of Natick.

Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey D. Robinson of Bridgewater, Dominic D. O’Donnell of Lakewood, Colorado and Holly P. Robinson of Bellingham.

Great grandfather of Austin D. Cooney of Bellingham.

Former husband of Patricia A. (Hayes) Robinson of Southborough.

Funeral Service in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Thursday, June 12th at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.

Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00-7:00PM.

Burial in Dell Park Cemetery, Natick with Military Honors.
