Bruce Orcutt 75, of Plymouth, MA and Apollo Beach, FL, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 5 at his home in Plymouth. He lived in Apollo Beach and spent the summers at his cottage in Plymouth. He grew up and lived in Weymouth until moving to Florida over 20 years ago.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents Arthur Orcutt Sr. and Jesse Lynne (Bell) Orcutt and his brother Arthur Orcutt Jr. and wife Nicky.
He is survived by his significant other Marie Roy, his sister Betty Johnson and husband Alan Johnson, his brother William Orcutt and wife Karen, his children Bruce Orcutt Jr. and wife Vicki, Sheila Caldwell and husband Fred, David Orcutt and wife Paula, and Sean Orcutt and his grandchildren Jennifer Blackwell; Freddy, Christopher, Jonathan, Benjamin, Brianna and Kellianne Caldwell; and Robert, Amanda, Rachael, Brendan and Danny Orcutt.
Bruce was self-employed in the automotive radiator industry; he also owned and operated Dura Cast Products located in Lake Wales, FL. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Patriots. Bruce enjoyed life to the fullest including spending time with his kids, grand kids and family. He loved playing golf, traveling, and fine dining.
Visiting hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday June 11 from 4 to 7 PM followed by a funeral at 7 PM at the funeral home.A memorial ceremony will be held on Friday June 20 in Lake Wales, FL.
