Ciro “Gino” Romano age 76 of Canton passed away June 2nd at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born and raised in Italy, Gino came to the United States in 1971. He previously lived in Jamaica Plain and has lived in Canton for the last 11 years. He worked as a mechanic for Peter’s Autobody in Jamaica Plain before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Beloved husband of Anna (Mazzella). Loving father of John of Norwood, Cynthia Cree & her husband James of Canton, & Maryann Sarfino & her husband Anthony of Davenport, FL. Brother of Eva Calisi of Jamaica Plain and Francesca Romano of Italy. Also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Briana, Jamie. Christina, Antonio, & Sofia, and his great-granddaughter Annabella. Visiting hours in the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton on Friday from 4-8pm. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church, Canton Saturday morning at 10. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. | |||||
