Mary L. “Maizie” Riccardi (Daly) age 91 of Dedham passed away May 31st at the Epoch of Sharon Nursing Home. Born in Boston, she was raised in Jamaica Plain and attended Boston Schools. She worked as a Supervisor for the New England Telephone Company for many years before retiring and was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers. She lived in Dedham from 1967 to 2013. She enjoyed water aerobics, reading, walking her dog, playing cards and spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Rudolph (Rick) Riccardi, Mother of Mary Lou Renner and her husband Lowell of North Attleboro, George Riccardi of Dedham and John Riccardi and his wife Pride of Houston. Grandmother of Casey Linn Renner of Boston and Alexander Renner of North Attleboro. A visiting hour will be held on Tuesday, June 10th from 10-11 am at the Dockray and Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Canton. At 11 am relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service to be held at the Funeral Home with Rev. Carole Baker officiating. Burial will be held privately at a later date at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham. In lieu of flowers donations in Mary's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
