ANDERSON, Janice B. Age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, May 26, 2014.
Preceded in death by her parents and 2 grandchildren. Survived by her husband of 61 years, Ron E., daughters Brenda (Scott) Kuehl, Kim (Jon) Boehmer and Ronette (Mark) Novak, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brother John Hawksford, sister Charlotte Fouks.
Janice was raised on a dairy farm in Deer Park, WI. She married Ron on July 8, 1952. They lived in Maplewood/No. St. Paul up until February 1973 when they bought a sporting goods business in Orr, MN. They owned and operated Anderson Sports Port until their retirement in 2007.
Janice loved life and lived with gusto, flair, style, love and some serious strength. She enjoyed many outdoor activities and was an avid deer hunter. She was the life of the party and all who have known her loved her friendship, kindness, humor and warm heart. She was beautiful inside and out. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Though she is gone from our sight, she will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
