LUCKETT SR, John “Jack”, 78, of Louisville, passed away April 22, 2014, at home surrounded by his family.
He was retired from the former Rohm & Haas and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and sports fan.
He was preceded in death by his great granddaughter, Avery Ogburn; brothers, Billy, Bert, Benny, Joe and Bobby Luckett; and sister, Mary Cambron.
Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan Cecelia (Mills) Luckett; children, John Luckett, Jr (Patti), Kathy Ogburn (Denny), Rhonda Ransdell (Anthony), Susan Jury (John), and Gail Stachler (Brian); brothers, Dan (Wanda) and Mike (Karen) Luckett; sister, Martha Blair (Bruce); 13 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
His Funeral Mass will be Friday 10am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3705 Stone Lakes Dr., with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday 2-8pm at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road.
