John F. Renoux, 92, of Gorham, passed away on April 21, 2014 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was born in Milltown, New Jersey on September 17, 1921 the son of Antoine and Antoinnette (Bouralel) Renoux. He was raised in Milltown, NJ and attended school in Brunswick, NJ. John served in the US Army and was a Lieutenant in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. Upon his discharge from the military, he finished his education, graduating Penn State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in forestry. John was a member of Holy Family Church, was an avid fisherman, golfer and was an accomplished musician. He had been employed James River Corp as a Supervisor in the Woods Department.
He is survived by his wife Madeleine (Roy) Renoux of Gorham, NH, a son Kenneth Renoux and wife Suzanne of Meredith, NH and a daughter Monica Myers and husband Christopher of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Shawna Sousa and Amanda Belzil; five great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Family Church in Gorham on Saturday June 21, 2014 at 10 AM. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
