Ella Francis (Curtis) Rezendes, age 87 of Fall River, passed away April 21, 2014. Widow of Joseph Rezendes & daughter of Dewey G. & Evelyn (Hastings) Curtis. Prior to retiring, Ella worked at Kimwell Nursing Care Facility in housekeeping, and was a former member of the Tecumseh Mill Senior Citizens Club.
She is survived by her children: Wendell Rezendes of ME, George D. Rezendes of OH, Mary E. Rezendes, Rhonda M. Holmes, & Rose M. Moquin all of Fall River; siblings: George & Wendell Curtis both of Maine, William Curtis of NC, Clara Araujo of Fall River; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. She was the mother of the late Joseph Rezendes, & the sister of the late Addie Scarpa, Doris Daniello, Harvey & Albert Curtis.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on FRIDAY at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset.
