Olive Berry Hoey

NATICK: Olive Berry Hoey, 91, died peacefully and comfortably under the care of her devoted children on Friday, April 18, 2014 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Framingham on February 26, 1923 the daughter of the late William J. Berry and Lucretia A. (Hubley) Berry.
She was the wife for 49 years of the late Richard Thomas Hoey who died on February 18, 1993.
Olive is survived by her loving and devoted children: Karen Hoey Seluta and her husband Pastor James T. Seluta of Warrington, PA; Richard Peter Hoey and his wife Connie of La Luz, N.M. and Patricia Berry Hoey of Natick with whom she resided. Also survived by her brother William Berry and his wife Rosemary of Ocala, FL. She was the sister-in-law of Donald Hoey of Natick. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 6 nieces and 5 nephews. She was the sister of the late Ernest Berry, Mildred Dolbier and Lucretia Toland.
Olive has been a resident of Natick for over 69 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family and will be greatly missed and cherished by them.
Visitations will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 am followed by her memorial service at 11:00 am at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Hoey family lot in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Natick.
