Domenico "Mimi" DiPersio

Domenic “Mimi” DiPersio died peacefully after a period of declining health at the Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He was 86.

Mimi was born and raised in Brittoli, Pescara, Italy the son of the late Franco and Giuseppina DiPersio. He came to the United States as a young man and lived in Everett, Malden, Lexington and Medford. He retired to New Smyrna Beach, Florida. A talented inventor and industrial designer, Domenic invented component parts for medical devices early in his career. He also worked as an industrial designer with Market Forge of Everett, before his retirement.

The beloved husband of Nicoletta (Iannetti) DiPersio, he leaves his devoted son, Carlo DiPersio and his wife Diane of Windham, NH. A loving grandfather to Christopher, Adam and Jillian DiPersio, he was a dear brother to Antonio of Italy, Attilio of Burlington and Livio of Haverhill.

Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford Wednesday, April 23rd from 6 – 8 PM and again on Thursday morning at 10 followed by a funeral mass offered in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
