William Medeiros, age 68 of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly, in his home on Saturday, April 19, 2014. He was the beloved companion to Lu-Ann Imlay of Fall River, the husband of the late Teresa Medeiros, and the former husband of Muriel Levesque. Born in Somerset, MA, he was the son of the late Everett and Irene (Arruda-Massa) Medeiros. Prior to retiring, Bill worked for Poirier’s Auto Dealership as a salesman, and he was an avid New England sports fan. Bill was known as “Pumpsey” when he played softball and as “Dollar Bill” on the dealership sales floor.
In addition to his companion and former wife, he is survived by his 3 daughters and their spouses: Lynn Ellis, her husband Keith of E. Freetown, Keri Miller, her husband Derek of Fall River, and Renea Perreira, her husband Richard of Tiverton; 2 siblings: Everett Medeiros Jr. of Fall River and Dorothy Condry, her husband James of Somerset; 5 grandchildren: Stacie & Richard Leger, Korie & Kasie Ellis, and Marisa Miller; 1 great granddaughter: Chloe Almeida; several nieces & nephews.
His calling hours will be held on THURSDAY, April 24th from 4-8 P.M. with a service at 7:00 P.M. in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA.
