Stella Eva (Garceau) Rydant, 82, of Marlboro, died on Friday, April 18th at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Richard Rydant in 2004.
Stella was born and raised in Marlboro, daughter of the late Arthur and Eva Garceau. She took great pride in the care of her home and raising her children. She spent 12 years in Florida and also resided in Northboro.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Condo of Canada; her son, Jeffrey Rydant of Virginia and was predeceased by her son, Robert Rydant. She is also survived by her sister, Lorraine Duca of Marlboro; her three brothers, Roland Garceau of Billerica, Ernest Garceau of Florida and Donald Garceau of Florida; her granddaughter, Heather Condo of Canada; her four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eva Poland, Arthur Garceau, Henry Garceau, Albert Garceau and Norman Garceau.
A private graveside service will be held in Saint Michael’s Cemetery at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
